We are surrounded by products more than people in every place we visit. If any work which man needs to do repeatedly then inventors jump in and create a new product and it immediately hits the market for the use. People too are too enthusiastic to buy such products and many waits outside the shop for whole night before the launch day to get the product, many reserve the product online.
Yes it shows the product’s usefulness and benefits. This reduces the user’s time, money & energy to great extent. At the same time an amateurish question arises that is such products worth the money we give to buy? Okay lets be amateurish and could think about some other possible questions.
First we could ask are we being tested?. Then secondly does products are service motivated or money? Now consider any product, mean to say furniture, detergents, mobiles, paste, etc., which we are using today, surely would have its previous versions. For sure, before buying this latest product, we could have seen advertisements for such products from any sort of media like, TVs, Radio, magazines, internet and they definitely would have claimed it to be “Now with more improved performance, improved quality, improved speed” than its previous versions.
Aren’t they contradicting with their own claims with every new version releases? In case of smart phones they use advertise “Now with more 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 5 megapixel camera” for their initial versions and they claim it would work fast. But when once after they are ready with another version they use claim again “Now with 1.4 GHz processor, 1 GB Ram, 8 Megapixel cameras and it would work faster”. This kind of claiming happens with every new releases of their product. So arise the question isn’t it contradicting and by somehow they themselves lower their previous version of product which once been told by themselves as effective.
Like mobile we could see this kind of marketing in media for all products in which they themselves dump and the customers to get their new version and after some months this latest version be asked to dumped for their new version. And customers too welcome such versions whole heartedly. Inventors find a new product or an alternative to existing product and they immediately release to the market. The enthusiastic customers spend as much as they could to buy the product. Now the product releasing company sells the product and make millions and billions as profit. After some months they release their new or upgraded version to the market and again the enthusiastic ones buy and company makes billions as profit and this happens as routine. With every release they make millions and millions.
An amateurish question could be asked that why they release a low power, low speed, low capacity first release as v1.0 and later more power, speed, more capacity V2.0 and so on versions? Why they shouldn’t release the well made, well developed, perfect speed product in their first version v1.0 release itself? Why they bring any product to market immediately? They can take their own time of months or even years to develop a fine tuned product and then release? So a question asked is product money motivated? They tend to make money and money alone with every version of product and make people to buy with their marketing tag line “newly designed, improved quality, more speed”. This makes us to think are we being tested with version and to improve their product’s quality and their personal wealth?
If this is possible then customers too should demand for such high end product as first release itself. But as usual we are going to be ‘We’ and we will not let others do and we will bring our children the same way.
